Situated on a very steep site with spectacular ocean and mountain views. The open plan design maximizes connections with the surrounding landscape. Bold landscape elements are used to break the scale of the house and integrate into the mountain.

Johannesdal 1207

Johannesdal 1207 is a secluded estate and in an unforgettable location. A hidden gem this estate located just outside Stellenbosch has a wealth of amenities and is a romantic wedding venue with walls and ceilings cladded in wood.

The Boat House

The Boat House embraces a warm West Coast aesthetic with a focus on wood elements. The kitchen's small and functional design incorporates striking matt green cupboards, becoming a standout feature. Throughout the interior, muted West Coast tones are complemented by terrazzo flooring, matt black features, and prominent wooden elements, including an Oggie ceiling and oak countertops. The raw and unforgiving West Coast climate influenced the choice of materials, with oak, concrete, and steel forming the primary palette. The wooden deck, featuring a kolkol, provides an inviting outdoor space, while a 'desert garden' with meranti shutters adds harmony through contrasting red stone and green cacti, addressing the region's drought conditions.
